On Wednesday the timetable is condensed enabling everyone to have the afternoon off to either enjoy the wonderful facilities that Bryanston School has to offer or to explore the beautiful county of Dorset.
There are 3 excursion coach trips but they all take place at the same time on the Wednesday afternoon so please only choose one. The excursion trips for 2023, with pricing, are shown below. You can book through the Application Form (preferably) or at the office by lunchtime on the Tuesday during the course:
- Stonehenge – Walk in the footsteps of your Neolithic ancestors at Stonehenge – one of the wonders of the world and the best-known prehistoric monument in Europe. Explore the ancient landscape on foot and step inside the Neolithic Houses to discover the tools and objects of everyday Neolithic life. Visit the world-class exhibition and visitor centre with 250 ancient objects and come face to face with a 5,500 year-old man. 2023 costs are: £41 per adult, £30 per child, under 5 year olds free.
- Lulworth Cove – The beautiful white pebble beach of Lulworth Cove, with its blue waters and easy access make it a popular destination. Low tide reveals wonderful rock pools teeming with sea creatures. 2023 costs are: £21 per adult, £17 per child, under 5 year olds free.
- Bournemouth Aviation Museum (aviation-museum.co.uk) – We’re different to many other museums and offer a “hands-on” experience. Visitors of all ages are encouraged to climb into the cockpits of many of our aircraft. Imagine what it is like to be a pilot by handling the controls and fly away to wherever your imagination desires. 2023 costs are: £23.50 per adult, £20.50 per child, under 5 year olds free.
