The school has outstanding sports facilities for the use of children and parents during free time. Organised sporting activities for children take place at various times during the day and early evening. The Sports Centre contains a multi-use sports hall, a well equipped gymnasium, a pool, a fitness room, 4 squash courts and 3 fives courts.  Once timetables have been issued, please use the sign up sheets outside the refectory so that tennis and other sports can be organised. Below are details of some of the organised sports.

Tennis – There are 39 tennis courts so there is plenty of scope for players of all abilities. There is a designated tennis coach with short nets and coloured junior balls organising cardio/drills and tournaments for all age groups and parents. Signing up of these classes is a must. There will be opportunities for private lessons at £35 for adults and £30 for children.

Football – As usual there will be the ever popular football teams and tournaments.

Archery – We are lucky enough to be able to offer archery lessons from the Bryanston School sports staff, provided Covid-19 restrictions are fully lifted.

Swimming pool – There are early morning and evening adult only swimming sessions. The Swimming pool will be open for accompanied children in the mornings and afternoons and closes at lunch time and while the lunchtime concerts take place.

Personal Trainer –  Booking will be available at Bryanston and will incur an extra cost of £35 for adults and £30 for children.

Chi kung Henry George will be running free Chi kung classes at 7:30-8:00am on Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri on the roof terrace of the Sports Hall, or in the Dance Studio if it’s raining. Chi kung is a gentle, mindful system of whole-body movement that promotes wellbeing. It can be enjoyed by all, regardless of age or ability. Come and discover ease and balance in movement, and learn how to move like a deer, bird or even a tiger!

Alexander Technique – Private one-to-one lessons offered by Henry George (+44 (0) 7970 549868) in the Dance Studio (Sports Hall), for students or parents. Parents are welcome to attend their child’s lesson if they wish. £40 for 45 mins. The Alexander Technique brings awareness to our habits. It reduces muscle tension, improves coordination and performance, and restores emotional balance. In short, it helps adults and young people nurture their overall wellbeing.

There is a well equipped art room and a full time art teacher Margaret Omoniyi, on site to help children with art projects. The Art room is located in The Link.
