On Saturday evening, after all the other concerts, LSG Bryanston participants have the opportunity to show what else they can do, besides the instrument(s) they’ve been enjoying all week in the summer school classes.
Prior year Revues have featured hip-hop, klezmer music, pop sets, show tunes, pianists singing at the keyboard, teachers’ skits, dramatic recitations, comedy sketches, harmonica, spoons, Irish dancing … anything anyone wants to prepare and share! The Parents’ Orchestra and choirs perform, and the stewards normally put on a humorous skit.
Entry into the Revue is by audition near the end of the week. Look out for information in the Handbook or in notices during the week about how to audition.
Here are just a few photos from this year’s Revue.
