Vaida Farid began playing the violin at the age of six at Kaunas Naujalis Music Gymnasium. She graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, building up a varied career in both performing and teaching. She started her Suzuki Teacher Training with Koen Rens in 2007. Vaida has performed internationally in Italy, Lithuania, India, Kuwait, and the UK with a variety of orchestras and chamber ensembles. She has participated in masterclasses with tutors such as Petru Munteanu and Galina Turcaninova who taught Maxim Vengerov. She also worked at the Lithuanian Opera House as a violinist for three years.

In 2014, Vaida moved to London where she has continued teaching and performing. In 2018, she achieved level 5 Senior Teacher status at the British Suzuki Institute with Felicity Lipman. She is now a fully trained Suzuki Violin Teacher working at Southbank International School, Music Masters, and her violin studio.
