Silvia Faregna studied piano and graduated from the Conservatory G. Verdi in Milan.
She began her training as a Suzuki piano teacher in Lyon and, from the II level, continued her studies with Professor Lola Tavor, completing level V in 1999.
In 2001 she graduated from the G. Verdi Conservatory of Milan, with a degree in Experimental Composition – Specialising in Musicology. Subsequently, she was an occasional contributor to the Italian Society of Musicology.
From 2000 to 2012 she took part as a piano teacher in several National Suzuki Training Courses in Switzerland (Lac Leman, Montreux, Emmetten, Charmey) organized by the Swiss Suzuki Institute.
In 2006 she worked with the Turin Suzuki Talent Centre organizing the Suzuki Method World Convention in Turin.
Since 1995 she has taught piano and is currently director of the Suzuki Musical Centre in Milan. She has been Suzuki piano teacher-trainer in Italy since 2014. In 2022 she taught piano and collaborated, with the Italian Suzuki Institute, in organising the European Suzuki Convention in Cuneo.
