Mallory Gildersleeve
Mallory began learning Suzuki violin at age 6 in the US. As a child, she won numerous violin competitions and first performed as a soloist with orchestra at age 12. She received Bachelor’s and Masters Degrees in violin performance and pedagogy from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music where she studied with Mimi Zweig. She studied orchestra performance with Alex Kerr and Jorja Fleezanis. While at Indiana, Mallory taught at the String Academy, a programme for students aged 6-18.
Mallory began her Suzuki training in the US and completed her Level 5 training in the UK. After moving to London six years ago, Mallory established a studio in North London. She also teaches at Lauderdale Suzuki Group and Southbank International School. She has taught at workshops in the UK, Spain, and the US. She regularly plays recitals in the US and UK.
