Amy Cluggish has a vibrant Suzuki studio in North London where she teaches with the Lauderdale Suzuki Group. Originally from the United States, Amy began her Suzuki journey in her primary school’s Suzuki programme in Cincinnati, Ohio. She later pursued a career in performance, attending the College-Conservatory of Music and as a fellow at the Aspen Music Festival and School. She became a Suzuki teacher in 2008 while working as an orchestral musician, with a desire to pass on the wonderful experiences that she had growing up in a musical community. Music and Suzuki teaching run in her family – her partner, sister and mother-in-law are all Suzuki teachers and she is the proud parent of two Suzuki children.
