Cello Improvisation

We will learn about some of the basic principals of improvisation using the form and scale of the Blues as our reference point. We’ll focus on how to take your first leaps into the world of improvisation, some tips and tricks to get playing quickly and how to feel uninhibited in doing so. Taking into account the limitations of the internet there will be lots of copying and call and response which, happily, happen to be some of the cornerstones of the aural tradition which we’ll be studying!.
