Aggy began her cello studies with Stefan Besevic and David Grigorian in Montenegro, where she graduated from the Gymnasium of Music and Ballet “Vasa Pavic.” She furthered her education with Teodora Campagnaro and Pietro Serafin, graduating in cello from the State Conservatory of Music “A. Steffani” in Castelfranco Veneto, Italy.
Further Aggy graduated from the University for Music and Applied Arts “Mozarteum” in Salzburg, Austria, and studied with Goetz Teutsch, the Principal Cellist of the Berliner Philharmoniker. She also studied chamber music with her father, pianist Marian Mika. She obtained a Master’s Degree in Music Performance at the Conservatory of Music “G. Verdi” in Ravenna, Italy, under the guidance of Tiziano Berardi. Additionally, Aggy achieved Level 4 certification from the British Suzuki Music Association.
As a performer, Aggy has played as a soloist and chamber musician, particularly as a member of the Szymanowski Piano Trio. She has worked as a principal cellist in several orchestras and performed across Europe, Asia, and America. She also won multiple awards in cello and chamber music competitions.
Currently, Aggy works as a cello teacher at Southbank International School and also runs her own cello studio in North London. She has been recently appointed to the faculty of the Junior Trinity Laban Conservatoire.
