Marleen van de Zande

Marleen studied piano in the Conservatory of Utrecht, the Netherlands, and participated in many music courses of piano, chamber music and singing accompaniment in several countries.

She made recordings for the Classical Music Radio station in Holland.
Was the pianist of Trío Iberia and the viola-piano duo with Carlos Luis Barriga in Madrid.

Currently she works as a piano teacher in the music Academy “Cuatro Cuerdas” and as free lance. And as a pianist, accompanying singers and strings, in Madrid, Spain, and in summer courses in Spain and USA.

Her last performances in the chamber music field were in the “Auditorio Nacional” (direct recording for the national radio) and the “Fundación Juan March” in Madrid.

Recently she was member of the “Laurus ensemble” and the “Laurus Classic Duo”.

Since four years she is the pianist of the “Cuarteto de Piano ALMA”, giving chamber music concerts in Spain.
