In 1986 I graduated from the Brussels conservatory and started my professional live by playing in several orchestras.<\/p>\n<p>From 1993 until 2013 I played in \u2018Spectra ensemble\u2019. This ensemble is specialized in contemporary music. During this 20 years we played concerts everywhere in Europe.<\/p>\n<p>In the same year I started to teach with the Suzuki method. Together with Veerle Van Gorp I founded the private school \u2018Kortjakje\u2019. This school for violin and cello is still very active and has at the moment more than 100 students.<\/p>\n<p>As a teacher trainer I work together for many years with Veerle Van Gorp and Koen Rens in the Conservatory of Antwerp.<\/p>\n<p>Being musician is my profession and a great hobby at the same time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I started late on the violin (eleven years) with great personal interest in music.
