\"\"Alice Pinto\u00a0BMus (Hons), MMus, LRAM\u00a0<\/em>is increasingly renowned for her work with young musicians; as a teacher, accompanist, and ensemble coach.\u00a0As a soloist and chamber musician she has given critically-acclaimed performances both in the UK and abroad; highlights include live broadcasts on Icelandic national radio, and concerto performances in London, Cambridge and Cheltenham.<\/p>\n

Alice gained her MMus degree from the Royal Academy of Music, where she held a\u00a0Richard Carne Scholarship\u00a0and was short-listed for the Jacob Barnes Scholarship. As an undergraduate, Alice was a finalist in every internal competition she entered including the Beethoven, Chopin, Scarlatti and open recital prizes and was awarded the Anthony Lindsay Piano Prize and the Manager\u2019s Discretion Prize in the Jaques Samuels Intercollegiate Piano Competition. She graduated with first-class honours and the Isabelle Bond Gold Medal keyboard nomination. Alice was previously the Else and Leonard Cross Memorial Scholar at the Royal College of Music Junior Department and the Nora Day Keyboard Scholar at St. Paul\u2019s Girls\u2019 School, where she was also the Alice Lupton Keyboard Prize winner. Alice was a Suzuki student and studied with Fiona Matthison (piano) and Jillian Leddra (violin).<\/p>\n

Still based in West London, Alice gained her LRAM in 2011 and teaches privately and at Bute House Preparatory School. She has previously been on the faculty at Junior Guildhall, Junior Trinity, Dulwich College, and Dame Alice Owen\u2019s School. From 2013-14 she held a Leverhulme Fellowship with\u00a0Pro Corda<\/a>. Alice is the official accompanist of the\u00a0Bayswater Suzuki Group<\/a>, and has recently completed her Level 1 Suzuki violin teacher training.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
