She came to the UK in 1984, and with her husband David, set up the Kod\u00e1ly Centre of London to promote music education based on Kod\u00e1ly\u2019s philosophy. She has taught with the British Kod\u00e1ly Academy. Yuko has worked as a musicianship teacher at Trinity College of Music.
