Janine runs the Suzuki Schule Mannheim in Germany and has recently set up a regional Suzuki Association for the Rhein Neckar Metropolitan area. She did her Suzuki training in London and Germany and completed her Diploma in 2018. In 2022 the European Suzuki Association appointed her as an instructor.
Her professional training began as a music graduate from the University of York and postgraduate studies at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Janine studied for her artist’s diploma at the College of Performing Arts in Mannheim, Germany.
As a violinist she has worked for many years in the opera orchestra of the National Theater in Mannheim and subsequently with the State Philharmonic Orchestra Rheinland Pfalz. As a Suzuki teacher she has been invited to teach at workshops in Switzerland, Spain, Germany and the UK.
Janine has two Suzuki violin playing children, and yes, it is far harder to be a Suzuki mum than anything else.
